Blessings
in the name of JESUS
We
greet you in the name of the LORD and pray all is well with you and your
house. We have been quite busy since our last post. There have been many
trials with the heat and the schedule. Michelle and I have travelled twice
to the Palestinian held territories under the tour covering of a group
called Peace Now. Peace Now is a
radical group calling for the immediate and unconditional hand over of
Judea, Samaria, Gaza, Hebron, Bethlehem with half of Jerusalem for
implementation of a palestinian state. It was grassroots
confirmation of the rhetoric which we hear on the mainstream media; BBC, Al
Jazeera, Al Arabia, and their pawns in our U.S. media wonks. The rise of
catch words used such as 'apartheid, ethnic cleansing, which though used
seldom are getting some traction and are nothing but a lie of the enemy to
bludgeon the Israeli government into submission once more. Desmond Tutu and
many mainline apostate denominations of so-called Christian faith,
rejecting the Jew and siding wholly with the transplanted arab population.
Now
to the day to day of it--- We have had numerous occasions to witness the
GOSPEL as at least a dozen have come forward in a desire to hear more or to
challenge in a civil way that there is a GOD at all with many believing 'we
all worship the same GOD.' That phrase is generally a cover to escape
having to discuss or entertain the fact that there is a possibility that
the one speaking it is not living in right manner, or, needs to acknowledge
the TRUTH and get saved. I listen to their prattle but when they utter,'we
all worship the same god,' listening is over and the TRUTH is brought forth
in love but without compromise.
As
we walked through the 'Old City' the other evening, a over-imbibed
palestinian veers over to talk with me as we strode toward our quarters. As
I listened, he asked, 'Are you Christian?' I nodded and he said,' bless
god, we all worship the same god!' This being after a couple minutes of
small talk. I immediately responded that was not correct that our GOD's SON
was JESUS, who came to this earth as GOD in flesh and who died on the cross
that we 'who' turn to HIM would be saved. Hallelujahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Many
of the 'secular' Jewish also utter this same lying mantra. The masses
are so decieved in and through this. This is the result of so many who
utter this compromise from national and international pulpits.
Many
are defending the decision to trade 5 murderers and 199 dead muslims for 2
IDF soldiers bodies killed in July 12, 2006. One of these was a wicked
barbaric murder by the name of Kuntar,
again sworn to reap murder upon Israeli citizens. This is the same vain
hope that the enemy whom has come to 'kill, steal and destroy' will change
his stripes, repent and become peaceful neighbors. It is 'De ja Vu
all over again,' but the price is death and destruction.
Thursday
as I again was in the citrus orchard, pruning away in the thorny lime
trees, here comes the Bedouin worker whom I was substituting for as
his ankle healed. He understands no English but will come in and through
visual demonstration, correct the method of pruning given by the
supervisor. It always causes me anguish for a time and then he will walk
off to be seen a couple of days later. As I heard his tractor coming, I
said to the LORD,' O LORD don't let him come over here and bug me!' The
LORD said, 'I want you to lay hands on him and pray for his healing in the
name of YESHUA.'
The
Bedouin comes up to me, smiles and bobs his head. I looked at him,
spoke, the Hebrew good morning phrase, 'Boker tov! I said,' do you
know YESHUA?'
He
smiles, waves his forefinger in a gesture of 'no,' as he nodded 'no.'
I
put my hand on his shoulder and started to pray in the spirit , then cast
off the spirits tormenting him and declared healing in the name of YESHUA,
smiling at him all the time. He smiled and walked off. Now pray for the
HOLY GHOST to show the LORD mighty to Yosef.
A
week ago we went to Shabbat service at the same synagogue we have attended
several times. After the service it so happened there was a wedding
reception in the hall. We we invited to sit at the main table which
admittedly was large. Across the table was a middle aged Jewish man. I
asked him if he spoke English. His response
was 'a
little.'
He
asked after a moment did I not realize it was a wedding reception. When my
response was no, he wanted to know why 2 Americans were in Sederot when he
and his family lived 30 minutes from there and they were afraid to visit.
We spoke that we followed YESHUA, that we loved Israel and the Israeli
people, that we were there to support and pray for them. His eyes filled
with tears, he patted his heart and said,"that warms my heart so,
thank you so much!" He immediately called his wife over whom had been
born in America and the above scenario was repeated. She also welled with
tears patted her heart and repeated the same astonishment asking, "why
would you leave the comforts of the U.S. to come here to live in
Sederot?" It is as Yogi said,
De ja
vu all over again. We love YESHUA and where HE sends us, we go, Are we
to be obedient and trust or disobedient and fear. Trust in the LORD and
watch the glory of the LORD move, Hallelujahhhhhh!
Thursday
afternoon as we waited at the front gate of the Kibbutz Nir Am for our bus,
a car drives up with a resident member of the Kibbutz. He rolls down the
window and asks, "are you the volunteers?" When we responded yes,
his eyes welled with tears, he placed his hand on his heart and said,
"I just heard of you and I want to tell you just how much we
appreciate you coming." Then he asked if we were leaving the Kibbutz
as to return to U.S. When we told him only a trip to Jerusalem we were
invited to come to get to know his family upon our return.
The glory goes to
JESUS, the thanks go to all of you whom pray for us, who donate
to our ministry and whom believe without seeing and knowing in the
physical- why- but still standing with us. You most of all share of
the thanks for without you we could not do it.
Praise the MOST HIGH GOD
