The trip was full of trials and blessings. The first leg of our journey, our flight to London, landed at Heathrow a little late, and we were in a rush to make the connecting flight. After what proved to be some poor advice, we headed for Stansted International Airport on the most expensive rail ride in the world. It cost us 77 pounds Sterling. The worst part was that we missed the connecting flight. We headed back to Heathrow to await the next flight to Tel Aviv. At Heathrow, we were placed on standby and we were told the flight was full -- right up till the gate closed on the flight. But we prayed that the LORD would put us on this flight and HE did. Praise HIM, AMEN! We landed in Tel Aviv at 11:30 PM, unfortunately after the trains had quit running for the day. On a previous trip to Israel, I had found traveling by train in Israel to be both reasonable and efficient, and it was our plan to get near the kibbutz, to Ashkelon, by train. After evaluating the cost of spending the night at a hotel versus staying awake for 6 more hours in the airport awaiting the 6:00 AM train to Ashkelon, we decided to take a cab ride to Sederot. About an hour later, we were delivered right in to the kibbutz. We were in bed at 3:00 AM June 19, over a full day since leaving the US -- we are 6 hours ahead of EDT here – and over 38 hours since leaving our beds in Virginia. In the days before our trip, the rocket attacks in southern Israel were rather intense. We prayed to the LORD that we would receive a good night's sleep and not be awakened by rocket fire. We slept until 1:30 PM that afternoon. When we awakened we were told that the Israeli-Hamas truce had started. Since then there have been only six rockets fired, and though we have been within a block of one of those, we have been certainly protected by the LORD. We want to praise GOD this moment for the fact that we missed our connecting flight from London's Stansted Airport and for being delayed over 6 hours, not arriving in Sederot until 2:00 AM on June 19. On June 18 -- the day we were to arrive in Sederot -- there were many rockets fired from Gaza into the area. On the afternoon of June 19, David [pronounced Du-veed] came by to see if we were alive, and to introduce himself. I was asked to help with the landscaping of the kibbutz entrance area the next morning. The work started at 6:30 AM and, with a couple of breaks, ended at Noon. That was plenty for me as the heat was in the 90's. We had that evening to rest and recuperate since Shabbat (Sabbath) was starting. Sunday morning my work in the Citrus Orchards started. My assignment generally consists of pruning the new sprouts out of the middle of the trees. Though Michelle worked in the Orchard a few days early in our stay, I am generally out there by myself now. The heat is more than we deem to be safe for her in pregnancy. It was God's plan all along Michelle is to start working with the 6-12 year-old children at the kibbutz's school. She was disappointed in not being used in the Kindergarten area after her first few days at the school but they were over-staffed in that grade range. We can see GOD's design in this since now several mothers are very excited about her speaking in English with their children, giving them the opportunity to practice using their English skills. Again we praise GOD and thank HIM for the opportunity to witness -- walking the name of YESHUA. For the last 2 weeks things have been rather extraordinary -- the truce has caused an almost unreal sense of normality in day-to- day life -- normal for us, perhaps, but very unusual for the people of southern Israel. We are living in a bungalow similar to those rented to the students of the local college. We have had several conversations about the LORD with some of the students. David the gardener comes by every couple of days or more often, and shows a strong interest in this "...GOD of yours...”. He is currently someone who prefers to meditate, but we believe GOD is about to move on him. The LORD has protected us from much I stabbed my right forearm pretty severely with the sharp blade of the pruners that I use. The wound gushed blood, but I rebuked fear of a vein’s being hit, flexed my fingers to check for a severed muscle and the LORD answered. The bleeding suddenly slowed tremendously, my fingers worked well, and after minor bandaging, I went back to work, continuing daily since without stitches or problems. Last Shabbat -- a week ago -- we smelled smoke, the kind of dry grass and brush burning, not of your favorite grille item. The pasture next to the kibbutzim residential area was blazing and threatening a dozen huge pine trees in the recreation area. David called me and asked me to help fight it. We all rushed over there and prevented the fire from entering the property. We give GOD praise as Michelle prayed against the fire and then suddenly the wind shifted sending it away from the kibbutzim burning 50 acres of dry pasture area which adjoins the residential area. Today Michelle and I went to the local synagogue. It was hit by a Kassam since I was here last March. The Kassam struck just outside of the walls, blew the windows out and put shrapnel holes in the ceiling. We were warmly received and many were quite surprised to see me again and I received many warm smiles, strong handshakes and of course, many a “Shabbat Shalom”. We look forward to many more Shabbats with these fine people and the opportunity to walk among them as believers and especially witnesses of the WAY. Hallelujahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! LORD we love YOU. We give ADONAI praise, for YOU bless our steps. We pray for the SPIRIT of the LORD to fall upon this land and, as it says in scripture. "...YOU will not return until the Jew says blessed is HE who comes in the name of LORD GOD of Jerusalem...." Come oh LORD upon their spirits, and cause their hearts to be circumcised that YOUR coming be soon. But as the word says, the fields of harvest are white they are so ripe, send the laborers, oh LORD. Bring the lost into the kingdom of GOD that their souls not be cast into eternal damnation in the lake of Fire. LORD show them the glorious love of knowing YOU as LORD and SAVIOR. YESHUA rise in their hearts as the SAVIOR of the CROSS and of the resurrection of LIFE. AMEN and AMEN. Toklas LGBT Democratic Club's Pride Breakfast and to congratulate you on continuing a legacy of success, stretching back thirty-six years. As one of the oldest and most influential LGBT organizations in the country, you have continually rallied to support Democratic candidates and causes, and have fought tirelessly to secure equal rights and opportunities for LGBT Americans in California and throughout the country. As the Democratic nominee for President, I am proud to join with and support the LGBT community in an effort to set our nation on a course that recognizes LGBT Americans with full equality under the law. That is why I support extending fully equal rights and benefits to same sex couples under both state and federal law. That is why I support repealing the Defense of Marriage Act and the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy, and the passage of laws to protect LGBT Americans from hate crimes and employment discrimination. And that is why I oppose the divisive and discriminatory efforts to amend the California Constitution, and similar efforts to amend the U.S. Constitution or those of other states. For too long, issues of LGBT rights have been exploited by those seeking to divide us. It's time to move beyond polarization and live up to our founding promise of equality by treating all our citizens with dignity and respect. This is no less than a core issue about who we are as Democrats and as Americans. Rom 1:16-2:1 Barack and Michelle Obama Court and Support Sodomite Equality Barack and Obama are on board with and are actively soliciting the support of the Sodomite community. If they are elected, they have every intention of bringing the Sodomite agenda to the front row of legislation. That is the promise anyway. You remember Barney, the Congressman whose live-in Sodomite partner was running a homosexual prostitution ring out of Barney's apartment. Barney was caught red-handed in this but since he is a Democrat, he is still in Congress. No problem. Read Baldwin's words for yourself. The sodomite community intends to steamroll this nation into desecrating the institution of marriage. The scripture above tells us what GOD has to say about this. Same sex union is an abomination in HIS eyes! The Obamas, and yes I said Obamas, as in plural, intend and are already promising to repeal DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act. I am sure that you thought that battle was over, but not when you deal with the devil. "Give him and inch and he thinks he is the ruler!" We have repeatedly seen Obama waffle (to whatever position) on issues contingent upon which audience and setting he is in. I do not know what to call him, Waffle King or Prince Chameleon. He changes colors faster than a Hanes T-shirt thrown into a 60's tie-dye vat, or is the appropriate word shades, as in shady. This is the election that will accelerate us right into the last days of freedom of speech, freedom of righteous marriage covenant, and freedom to preach the whole and true GOSPEL. For if the Democrats retain a majority or enlarge it and Barack Obamanation gets elected President, we will have a Supreme Court that will make the present one look like a convention of radical "fire and brimstone" Baptist preachers. It will be "jail time" to recite the Bible in public and soon even to your own family; especially the parts concerning the abomination of sodomite behavior which will be called "hate speech". I know you are laughing right now at me saying I am over the top. Well there are already cases in this country, the premier one in Philadelphia where Christians reciting the Bible to a sodomite perversion parade were arrested and jailed for speaking the TRUTH. These people are being tried under state and local laws under the "hate speech". How much more when it is a Federal law. Politicians abound with their deceit and worldly musings about the solution. They promise to stand with Israel yet we bend to the demonic forces which wag their tongues and brandish their weapons. They will shiver in their fatiques so hard that their combat boot laces will shred when they see the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent COMMANDER of HOSTS as He wields HIS sword as the blood rises to the height of the horses bridle. TASMM is on the ground here in Sderot, Israel across the fence and a berm from Gaza. The LORD says to invite those of you who are at this moment thrilled in HIS name to come and stand with those chosen of HIM to rise as the remnant of GOD. We at TASMM will guide you in, make sure you are lodged and relaxed in your setting as we stand in warfare against the wicked forces which soon will rise in retaliation for the strike coming against Iran. Time is short, there is a lull and the borders are open for travel but this going to change when the air strike against Iran happens. Hiz'bollah in Lebanon, Syria along the Golan, Fatah and Hamas in Judea/Samaria and Hamas along with the Iran Revolutionary Guard in Gaza will simultaneously rise in a multi-front attack of retaliation. Iran will launch what they can get off the ground which I can assure you won't be much, for the Israeli Airforce is going to pound them into dust. Pray without ceasing for Israel, GOD's Chosen. And pray for humility and obedience for my wife and I, that we will not tremble.

June 21, 2008 Blessings in the name of YESHUA Bless the LORD for we have arrived. It has taken a couple of days to recuperate as we were awake for around 30 hours. We left Dulles International on Tuesday evening and after a rather grueling trip, arrived at the Kibbutz Nir Am at 2 a.m. Thursday. As we lay down to sleep I prayed: "thank you LORD that we will not be awakened by sirens and rocket explosions". Later that day I was informed that the truce had taken effect. The devil did his best to knock us off our course and tried to steal our joy in that we arrived late from Dulles missing our connection into Israel. After spending over $200 traveling to the other airport, London Airport,Stansted International, to catch our connecting flight, it was then back to Heathrow for a 1530hr standby having been told the plane was full. But the LORD is the LORD and we praise HIM, for even as they kept us waiting right up to the gate closing, we kept praising YAHWEH that HE would vacate a couple of seats for us. HE made a way! Then we were on our way to Israel. We stood smiling (in faith) at the ticket counter and then we were put on the flight, all the while the supervisor was acting as if we were not getting on the flight. Never take man's word for it, believe in the only way---YAHWEH We have been blessed with a 2 bedroom apartment and greeted with love and friendship. We slept until 1330hrs on Thursday and then arose to be blessed with a hot lunch awaiting us, delivered right to our table. We then moved sluggishly out the door to meet with the manager, Isaac. I was assigned to help the "gardener in charge" for Friday and after a few pleasantries we went back to our apartment. I arose early Friday morning, around 0400hrs, and started reading Isaiah 1-3 and the LORD totally assured me that HE was among us here. Left for my gardening/landscaping assignment with the temperature around 80 praising the LORD for the opportunity to be of help to the Kibbutz and the young supervisor, David. [Pray for David, he wants to have a lengthier discussion about GOD, Halleluhah]. He worked me hard and we and two others finished the installation of a sprinkler system at the front gate, which by the way is guarded by IDF. We border Gaza on the one side and Sderot on the other. I finished the day at around 1200hrs not having perspired that profusely in a while. I spent the rest of the day re-hydrating. Praise GOD. Several weeks ago the LORD laid it on my heart that as we were here in Israel and specifically right next to Gaza that we would be internet radio streaming. Before we left Virginia several dear friends in the LORD put a lot of effort into helping me get prepared to come "on-line" with streaming of a program which begins Sunday June 22 at 8am EST called "A Call To Order". ---"When the TRUTH is revealed there is order in the house." I was concerned about where we would get on high-speed internet, which is needed to stream. I knew that we would not have a car to get over into Sderot. The program was a little edgy with me and I with it and so there again was only one thing to do, purchase the software and thank the LORD for those that the LORD put in front of me to help with this project. At this time I want to thank these 3 and their families for making this possible. Daryl Sirota, Bryan Dillard both of whom without their help I would not have succeeded, and Susan Werner who has been most generous with her time and talent as webmaster for Take A Stand Media Ministries for the last 2 years. Sabers rattle and are drawn as the rockets and mortars burst all through the area. The IDF stands ready as the wicked of Hamas do all they can to destroy any progress toward a ceasefire. On Thursday Hamas sent 3 suicide bombers and fired a barrage of 50-60 missiles, rockets, and mortars to try to breach the security fence. War is soon to break loose in Israel and though that area will be the battle ground, the repercussions will be felt throughout the world. We pray to be "in country" beforehand. We will be notifying each of you through this same newsletter of our broadcast schedule for it will be limited to certain hours of the day during this next couple of months. The ability to acquire the streaming software and to cover the airfare, living expenses and other incidentals while we are there will require financial blessing. We have purchased our tickets one-way to Israel. They were by the grace of GOD less than half price of round-trip tickets right now. We will working on a Kibbutz Nir Am which lies between Gaza and Sderot. So the first hand reports are a given, Hallelujahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! We know that is of GOD as she will be able to bring quiet to these children through YESHUA the MESSIAH when the Kibbutz comes under attack warning.

This one pastor is not alone in this as most of the rest of the so called Church across this nation has trembled in their pulpits in compromise. Their silence sounding like affirmation to the masses who obviously know not the TRUTH. President Bush in his good intentions to peacefully appease a wicked religion has invited islamic imams into the White House to break the devilish fast of 'ramadan.' Encourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it. What is your Mountain today? What is your mountain today and what challenges are coming against you? Has the doctor given you a bad report? Is it your finances? How about one close to you that lives in complete rebellion? The TRUTH is that no matter what the mountain is or how high it looks in your fleshly eyes it is not even a mole hill in GOD's eyes, for HIS arm is not too short for anything. Believe the simplicity of GOD's promises. If you lift up your voices to HIM and call on HIM in 'all' circumstances, HE cannot lie and HE will come. The LORD goes in front of us and the GOD of Israel is our rearguard. The LORD has nudged, chastised, clearly spoken, encouraged and given me the choice to either obey HIM or please man. I boast not in myself nor my courage for I have none but what comes from HIM. I boast in that I know the COMMANDER of HOSTS and HE loves me for I love HIS SON, JESUS. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess JESUS as LORD GOD, MORNING STAR, RISEN SON, WARRIOR KING, who uses the earth as HIS footstool. So now as Joseph and Mary arose and left for Bethlehem, my wife, myself, and the blessed gift of GOD that my wife now carries leave for the summer and go to Israel. The three of us will be safer there in obedience to HIS will than sitting in our living room in disobedience by 110%. This is the cute little cottage that we inhabit in Kibbutz Nir Am. The courtyard is lovely. We are surrounded by cottages for college students -- a fertile ground for Witnessing. |
| The picture above is of the house struck by a Kassam missile on June 24 in the middle of Sederot. The attack occurred as we sat with old friends at Sederot Media Center. We all immediately piled into our cars to go the site of the strike. The image above does not show the frantic mother and 3 children that we found as well. To those who would say "...well, this is a result of the actions of the Israelis..." the targets of the Hamas terrorists are not military targets but rather the defenseless civilian population. Surely you have heard of the bulldozer attack in Jerusalem. The target -- again – was innocent civilians not the Israeli military. |
| The photo above is of a local woman, whose house was struck by a Kassam missile earlier this year, knocking her to the ground, injuring her with a wound in the ribs and knocking out 3 teeth. Even in the face of this calamity, she invited us in to show us the damage and to refresh us with Coke and cookies, insisting that we come back for dinner. And she already suffers from cancer.
