Home From Israel

Blessings to all in the name of JESUS !

First of all we want to thank each and every one of you that have lifted us in prayer for the Lord's protection as we traveled into Israel.

There have been many battles, some of them physical.  Most of the battles have been just plain spiritual warfare.  Satan has whispered into our spirits such things as:

"Do you really believe that GOD is in this?"

"This is only your flesh."

"You are not accomplishing anything here for GOD."

Then as we would struggle through this, the LORD would contradict those thoughts from the deceiver through HIS WORD or through someone coming to us to ask about YESHUA.

When we arrived at the Kibbutz Nir Am, we were placed in an apartment in a row of bungalows which were used to house students of a local college in Sderot. I wondered at first why we, as adults, were placed there. The LORD soon answered.  At least six of these young, secular Jewish students started dropping by on regular basis, as "moths drawn to a flame."

Hallelujah!  It was so cool to have them drop by and want to talk to us.  They did not know why they were sitting there talking to us when we had nothing in common. We did not listen to their music, we did not drink alcohol, we did not commiserate in their secular ways, but we did witness the joy of YESHUA to them any and every time that the LORD would prompt us.

When the warning sirens sounded and they scrambled for the bomb shelters, we stood where we were, or sat calmly sipping our iced tea. They witnessed our faith through our actions -- our absolute knowledge that neither the devil nor the rockets could touch us.

Psalms 91:1-8
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust."
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

I say this to each and every one of you, no matter the battle in one's life; the murdering enemy, a terrorist in Iraq or Afghanistan, or next to the Gaza Strip, could not hit me or mine at point-blank range with a bazooka.  The LORD had HIS hand on me and mine.  I refuse to walk in fear -- for then the devil owns me. The battle ground is in the mind, for the Promise of GOD is this, "stand and watch the deliverance of the LORD!"

Fear will paralyze you if you concede the battleground to the deceiver.

Isaiah 41:10-13
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' "Behold, all those who were incensed against you  Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them - Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing. For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you
.

The last month in Israel was a real battle. My wife was attacked with premature birth pains -- a result of dehydration and heat stress, but in the final analysis, an assault of the devil.

The LORD had spoken a warning to us through a dear Brother at Congregation Sar Shalom to watch for dehydration which could bring on premature birth. He was prompted to caution us that she should drink plenty of fluids. This stuck in my spirit and the moment I walked into our bungalow and saw my wife in severe abdominal pain, I knew it was the spirit of death sent to kill, steal and destroy. I began giving her fluids to drink, laid hands on her and commanded all assigned demonic spirits to be gone, breaking their assignments in the name of YESHUA!

We never even considered fleeing to a Doctor for we knew the author of this attack -- and we knew the "FINISHER of our faith" was with us, AMEN! Victory was ours during the course of the rest of the day as we bound the spirit of fear and stood in faith that all things are under the control of GOD and in His hand. The Bible says that nothing can come against us or have victory over us lest God permit it.  HE is sovereign over every fleck of dust in the universe, every bullet, every piece of shrapnel, and every disease. HALLELUJAHHHHH!

Most recently a sinus infection attacked Michelle during our travel home, but she has quickly overcome it.

A month ago I had a condition called eroding cornea, prompted when I removed my right contact lens, tearing cells loose that normally cover the cornea.  It was quite painful but it has healed quickly.

For the last 3 weeks I have been battling a severe case of bursitis.  My arm has swollen to twice its normal size.  A week ago, as we prepared to depart Israel, the devil came to talk to me in the middle of the night, trying to infect me with his fear and doubt.  I could not sleep all night.  At about 2:00 a.m. I was battling the lie that I was developing pneumonia from the infection in my elbow.  It looked like a bright red softball.  The devil was telling me that I was going to die from a fast moving case of pneumonia as my chest and throat started to hurt. Then I started to draw closer to the LORD's promise, rebuking the spirit of death, and peace came upon me and the pains in my chest and upper arm left. That same morning as I went up on my "Bible Soft" program I saw the daily devotional of Spurgeon with the verse of the day (my birthday) HALLELUJAH!

"This sickness is not unto death!" John 11:4

It was only a trial!

Praise GOD for HIS WORD and that HE cannot lie. I knew that HE was talking to me and from that moment I have had victory over the lie of the devil.

The following is from Spurgeon's Daily Devotional

"This sickness is not unto death." --John 11:4 From our Lord's words we learn that there is a limit to sickness. Here is an "unto" within which its ultimate end is restrained, and beyond which it cannot go. Lazarus might pass through death, but death was not to be the ultimatum of his sickness. In all sickness, the Lord saith to the waves of pain, "Hitherto shall ye go, but no further." His fixed purpose is not the destruction, but the instruction of His people. Wisdom hangs up the thermometer at the furnace mouth, and regulates the heat. 1. The limit is encouragingly comprehensive. The God of providence has limited the time, manner, intensity, repetition, and effects of all our sicknesses; each throb is decreed, each sleepless hour predestinated, each relapse ordained, each depression of spirit foreknown, and each sanctifying result eternally purposed. Nothing great or small escapes the ordaining hand of Him who numbers the hairs of our head. 2. This limit is wisely adjusted to our strength, to the end designed, and to the grace apportioned. Affliction comes not at haphazard--the weight of every stroke of the rod is accurately measured. He who made no mistakes in balancing the clouds and meting out the heavens, commits no errors in measuring out the ingredients which compose the medicine of souls. We cannot suffer too much nor be relieved too late. 3. The limit is tenderly appointed. The knife of the heavenly Surgeon never cuts deeper than is absolutely necessary. "He doth not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men." A mother's heart cries, "Spare my child"; but no mother is more compassionate than our gracious God. When we consider how hard-mouthed we are, it is a wonder that we are not driven with a sharper bit. The thought is full of consolation, that He who has fixed the bounds of our habitation, has also fixed the bounds of our tribulation.

We have been besieged by computer problems and Internet access difficulties that prevented me from broadcasting as I had planned.

Demonic oppression has come against us for the last 5 weeks at every turn. With all of this you do start to wonder if you have fallen short of GOD's plan for your life and ministry. The answer is most likely "yes", but the LORD is a forgiving GOD extending grace, mercy, love and forgiveness to us.

We know that the LORD is about to launch the next step of our ministry, now that we are back in the States.

Though I feel as if we stumbled, we did not fall. We fell short of what "we perceived" the plan of the LORD was.

We see that we had victory in places and in people's lives that we did not expect. All praise goes to the LORD, for we spoke the GOSPEL on every occasion offered us.

Warfare is ratcheting up several notches.

The LORD has given me renewed passion and boldness to speak against the deception which permeates our political scene.

The LORD has given me renewed passion and boldness to speak against the deception which permeates the apostate church as so-called progressive evangelical leaders (which are nothing but deceived apostates) lead many down the broad path to hell.

Rick Warren, Jim Wallis, Tony Campolo, Kirbyjon Caldwell, T.D. Jakes, Jeremiah Wright, Michael Phleger and every other liberal, social justice preacher who has walked in their own puffed up false gospel are leading the masses down the broad path to hell.

Repentance is the only way to salvation -- there is no other way. Why are they not repulsed by the acclamations of broader abortion rights and widening legalized acceptance of homosexual perversion espoused by the Democratic Party?

These are perilous times and the deceptions and deceivers are many and becoming increasingly more shrewd.

We at "Take A Stand Ministries" embark upon the rest of our assigned journey to preach the GOSPEL of CHRIST to the lost and to those who believe they are saved but are actually walking on the broad path to eternal condemnation. There is but one GOD, HIS name is YESHUA, HE is not subservient to Allah, Buddha or Mother Earth. YESHUA is the only way to the FATHER and to eternal life with the FATHER.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints - and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Will you stand with us?

Will you pray for us?

Will you speak the GOSPEL without apology?

May the LORD bless your steps and your houses,

Michael  and Michelle Payne
