| Welcome to Take A Stand Media Ministries (TASMM, Inc). We are a BIBLE teaching, WORD believing ministry. We believe that the BIBLE is the inerrant WORD of GOD, given to man inspired by the HOLY SPIRIT through the direction of GOD. We believe that there is nothing that the LORD cannot do, no disease or illness that the LORD will not heal and no trial too big or too small for JESUS to deliver you through. ABOUT MICHAEL… Michael Payne, born in 1950, is a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served from 1970- 1975. His fight with alcohol, drugs and other addictions lead him to work with veterans of Vietnam, and now Iraq, who fight with PTSD and other problems which he has overcome. Michael has traveled to Baghdad, Fallujah and all of central Iraq including in the Sunni Triangle on four separate occasions, each for about a month, embedded with the 1st Cavalry Division, U.S. Army in 2004 as a freelance reporter. While in Iraq, Michael traveled the roads of Baghdad in Humvees and walked the streets with U.S. soldiers on patrol and accompanied them on midnight raids in at least 150 missions as U.S. troops searched out terrorists. Mr. Payne has also worked as a journalist embedded with the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] in Israel in February 2006, where he got a ground level view of the true situation in Israel and the conditions that the people of Israel live with everyday. He has traveled to Guantanamo Bay Prison facility and observed the conditions of the terrorist prisoners. He has spent many hours in counseling with veterans. Prior to his stints in Iraq and Israel, Michael was a radio station manager and program director. "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your GOD will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1: 6-9 We do not want you to do anything without petitioning the LORD for what your part would be. We do only ask you to pray and follow the LORD's direction.
